A pair of Victorian striped cranberry and white glass beakers. 12cm high.
The process for producing cranberry glass is painstaking and difficult, requiring precise mixing of the glass formula and a skilled craftsmen.
CRANBERRY GLASS. The colour of wild Cranberries, the pink is subtle, and was very popular with the Victorians for tableware’s. Victorian Cranberry glass is often very fine glass, showing faults in the glass, such as trapped air bubbles.
